This 800XL has the Ultimate Atari Video upgrade. Thisupgrade restores the Chroma Output, which makes it capable of giving a S-Videooutput. The upgrade also improves the sharpness and the color of thevideo output. There is also a Newell RAM upgrade which increases the RAM from64K to 256K. The additional RAM can be used as a Ram DISK and it allowsthe computer to run all programs that a 130XE can run. The OperatingSystem has the latest version of the XL/XE operating system and the Omniview 80Operating System. The operating system is selected by using the channelselector switch in the rear of the computer. Channel 3 gives you theOmniview OS and Channel 2 gives you the standard Xl/XE Operating System.Once you are in the Omniview OS you can get an 80 column screen display bytyping CONTROL A then pressing RESET. The computer also has a mechanicalkeyboard. The Computer is in very good cosmetic condition. There isno yellowing of the case and there are no cracks or deep scratches on thecomputer case. All systems are working. The computer comes with avideo cable that has audio, composite video, luma, and chroma outputs.
